The local organising committee (LOC) of the 28th Asia Pacific Dental Congress, which is going to be held in Karachi from February 25 to March 1, 2006, announced that preparations for the forthcoming conference are in full swing. In an effort to successfully organise this congress, the LOC has been meeting at least every Friday since the past five months for brainstorming, planning and implementation of this mega project.

Various committees have been formed to distribute the workload amongst volunteers. It is strongly being felt that the successful organisation of this conference is a matter of prestige for the profession and the country.-PR
